Cefaject Injection 1g

Cefaject Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination of Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium, classified as a third-generation cephalosporin. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections as prescribed by a registered medical practitioner, and is administered via intramuscular (I.M) or intravenous (I.V) route.

Each vial contains Cefoperazone (as sodium) 500mg and Sulbactam (as sodium) 500mg, manufactured to JP specifications. The pack includes one vial with 1g active ingredient plus one 5ml ampoule of Water for Injection (WFI).

For intravenous use, the injection should be reconstituted with sterile water and administered slowly over 2-4 minutes. For intramuscular use, 2% Lidocaine HCl sterile solution may be used as a diluent (not for initial reconstitution) following a two-step dilution process, or as directed by the physician.
