Metxime 100mg/5ml Powder

Metxime (Cefixime Trihydrate) Powder for Oral Suspension is a prescription third-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic, formulated as a strawberry-flavored suspension for easier administration in children. It is intended for use only on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.

Each 5ml (1 teaspoonful) of reconstituted suspension contains Cefixime (as Trihydrate) USP 100mg, manufactured to USP Specifications. The bottle yields approximately 30ml of suspension after reconstitution.

Reconstitution Instructions: Add one measureful (10ml) of previously boiled and cooled water to the bottle contents and shake to wet the powder. Then add a further measureful (10ml) of water and shake to make the suspension.
